Installing RPM file into a different root

One day you may have to install an RPM file into a different root folder. For example under rescue mode though you can chroot as an option. Here is the handy option for you to do it.

#rpm -ivh zip-2.31-2.el5.i386.rpm –root /mnt/sysimage
